No I do not have "Ignore Errors" enabled its disabled. I try and record using the 256 samples ot 512 samples. Most of my songs are like between 36 to 48 tracks including Midi, Aux and Wav. tracks. IM on a PC a pretty New Dell Precision T1500 w/i7 Chip. I only get the White Noise when doing overdubs punch-Ins. I Moved the Blue Cat plug-ins and tried to upgrade my Structure but I have Structure LE and could not find the 1.1 upgrade for LE. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thank you

Cross your fingers but IM working on a session right now cutting guitar tracks and I have NO White Noise... This gives me total faith in AVID. I did all of the recommended things and I beleive I finally have a totally Stable Pro Tools 8 system, Thank you AVID... I was never going to give up on this software and IM glad I never lost faith. Oh Yea Go Pro Tools 8... Now I have to get back to cutting these guitar tracks, Thank you

Ahh just got some White Noise but it took way longer to happen and only happened once? So the problem is still there but not half as bad?

The White Noise as fully returned and now its getting worse than it was, even my work around doesnt work any more, IM at my wits end trying to make it stop so I can cut Wav. track without hearing the White Noise?

I really think its another issue for u altogether.. U don't hav any ik plugs or anything that need authorizing? or others?

Or do any plugins need an update? MAKE SURE! 100%!

Im baffled by the amount of people getting white noise. i haven't gotten a single burst in my whole year of using pro tools XD

there isn't an amount of people gettin it since the .3cs2 update so I'm not sure where u got an amount of this 1 thread...

Keybeeetsss... No IK Plug-Ins nothing out of the norm, but do you think I could put all of my plug-ins in the unused Plug-In folder and see if I get the White Noise or do they need to be completly removed from the computer? IM tracking right now and do not need the plug-ins. Its does seem strange that this has been going on for so long. The Plug-Ins I have are: AIR, TL, McDSP, BF Essential, Bomb Factory.
