Midi goes grey on instrument track?
Hello, i am a bit of a noob at pro tools so sorry in advance if i sound like a w****r.
I am using a Apple Macbook, pro tools le 7.4, using a gtech external hardrive. I recently copied a load of plug ins from some aux tracks and midi from a midi track to combine them onto some instrument tracks. All was fine and it all played. However when i opened the project up again all the midi for the instrument tracks was grey and there was no sound when i played it? im sure there is some simple thing i have done wrong but any help would be much appreciated. thanks x |

Re: Midi goes grey on instrument track?
Check that the midi output settings on your Instrument tracks are correct. You'll find them at the top of each Instrument track.
If you can't see the output settings, go to the View Menu > Mix Window > then select 'Instruments'. You should see them now. |
