Most Stable Platform for Digi002

Hi,

I am hoping to resurrect my Digi002, and really want to get a stable platform to work with so I can make some music rather than spending all my time fighting s/w bugs

.

I want to work with a laptop Should I go with a PC or a Mac ?

If PC which version of windows ?

What version of Protools (LE) should I use?
