mbox for PC system. desktops and laptops.

so... erm... anybody from digi can comment on this? or has this question been asked and answered previously?
can we expect the mbox to be able to b used for PC desktops and laptops anytime soon? if so, when? if not, WHY!?!?!?!?!

and any plans for something in between the 001 and the mbox? one has 18 ins and outs, and the other just 2. something in between would be nice? like erm... mebbe 6 to 9 ins and outs? or an expandable system of some sort? watever.... just some suggestions.
coz dunno bout others, but guessing some find 18 too many to and hence too expensive, but need more than just 2 and dont mind paying a little more for a few more ins...

001 comes with 8in/8out on the box. This is the in between your looking for. The other 10 inputs require digiatl in.

We hopeing for the Mbox this year.

As for why? We PC people have the privilage of getting a product that's first been used and tested by the mac people first.
