DV Tools with digi 001/PT6.4/OS10.3.4

Hi All.

A few (hopefully) simple questions......I've searched the DUC and answerbase, but haven't found the answers. Hope you guys can help.

I'm planning on running PT 6.4 / OS10.3.4 on old faithful digi001, with DV toolkit on a separate new internal HD. Before leaping into buying DV toolkit and OSX, has anyone had experience with this combination?
(The original HD would keep OS9.2 with PTLE 32 Beta, which has been very stable. The idea is to boot from whichever drive needed, for posting, or for making music.)

Lastly, MIDI. The G4 is running OMS with an opcode studio 64 driven off a serial stealth port - again, very stable. Will this work in OSX? I've got a nasty feeling it won't..........

Sorry if these are dumb questions, but I'm probably way behind the bleeding edge...I've been running PTLE 32beta for music work for ages, and getting a solid 32 tracks out. I'm only upgrading as I need OMF import and better posting facilities for some upcoming work.

Any tips greatly appreciated.

Yes, your configuration will work. I'm now running OSX10.3.8. I have a client who has a stealth g4 port in their dual 1ghz. There's a new driver to load. It's works perfect for serial control of a betacam deck, so I'd expect it to work for midi.
The DV Toolkit is very good. The only problem I'm having is with the core audio driver. With it loaded it I get crashes when auditioning aif files from the digi search window. Without it--great. One other are bug is that the edit window locks up. This happens perhaps once a week or so. All I do is close and reopen the edit window and the problem is fixed.

Well, I went for it and got the DV toolkit today, and will be installing it in the next few days. If I find out anything interesting I'll post it back here.

maybe a bit off, but..

I'm running Pro Tools 6.4LE in 10.3.6 with DV Toolkit. I have a problem. That is, if I set the main "counter", to Timecode (hh:mm:ss:ff), when i save the session, quit, and then open it again, the counter changes to MM:ss:samples everytime!

going to update to 10.3.8 soon, hope it'll solve the bug!
