Default How to open "Super" Channel View?

I know that the "Super" Channel View in PT Control is available only witch Dock or S3. I have both devices but I don't see it. I have only standard view (1), not the super view (2)

Pro Tools 12.5.1 HD
S3, PT Dock, PT Control 1.0.6, El Capitan 10.11.5

"Super" Channel view and "Channel view" are the same thing, which is shown in your second screenshot. It is available without Dock or S3 attached. We had originally planned on limiting it, but decide making that available to every user was the right decision.

The picture with the EQ plot line is from early marketing materials - no-one has this.

I think the app improved a lot when the Dock was announced. A lot of S6 methodologies went into it. I don't think we should call it beta.

So...is picture 2 "false advertising"? I've got the dock and S3 and, to be honest, functionally there is no difference to me... but what we have now seems rather hacky compared to the EQ curve...

Hi luy,
I don't understand your reply. Are you unhappy with the app?

Hi Mark, not unhappy...just questioning why they included that picture on the ads and then not in the product. But as I said, I don't think it makes any different functionality wise, it's just a nice touch

I actually love the app. It's very useful. I was just looking forward to having the EQ curve on the iPad screen.

The Dock itself...whole other story. This is what I was referring to as being "beta testers". Sorry if that isn't the right term for hardware testing.

I can't stand the responsiveness of the knobs or the horizontal/vertical touch strips. The touch strips just don't work 50% of the time I touch them, and when they do, there's a major lag. You can even catch this happening to Mitch Gallagher on the Sweetwater review of the S3. I love the weight of the wheel but scrolling doesn't work on the score editor and isn't always smooth when in Mix window, edit window, or MIDI editor screen. (This could be due to the ATI 5770/lack of GPU power?!?!?!?!).

I spent this last weekend replacing all of my hard drives in my Mac Pro and running a clean install of EVERYTHING. The responsiveness has not improved at all.
