PACEAP Driver Not Installing

er....... im not sure if Nick (our department tech) would let me but on the other hand he has just with in the last 2 weeks install PT9 on 17 new Macs using the ilok 2 and they have worked just fine............. so maybe its just windows that seems to be having the problem 0_o?

and i totally agree, if i had a ilok gen 1 i would be using that instead of this... ilok gen 2 (rolls eyes), have u guys got PT for windows since ur giving advice i asume u have lol did u guys have any trouble installing either the Ilok/pace drivers or PT9 softare + drivers and have u had any problems with the software?

nope...not a W7 only problem. it's a iLok2 hardware problem and yes i'm runnin' W7 x64 Pro with no issues at all. but like i said earlier, if on your 'initial' PT9 install the exact Avid process is not followed then one can definitely find themselves in a maze. the order of the steps are extremely important.

There will be a few crinkles to iron out with iLok USB Gen 2 and associated drivers but personally running the latest PACEDriver, iLok USB Gen 1 with PT HD Native 9.0.2 (Win 7 SP1) I have not seen many issues. Just thee odd Pro Tools bug here and there.

I another problem with this interlok. I try to update strike to version 1.4, but when I run the installation I get this error message :"couldn't launch interlok driver setup error -1" and then :" This installer was unable to launch the PACE system files installer"

It's a brand new computer so everything I've donwloaded ought to be the newest version.

I've installed the ilokclienthelper setup as well as the driversetup. And everything installs great except strike. I'm running PT LE 8.0.5.
