Default Unable to open Pro Tools 10 Error.

Hey guys, I just recently bought an Eleven Rack, and it came yesterday (It's 1:20am at time of writing this. :P)

I want to install PT so I can test out some presets, but, after a fresh install and such, I get this error message.

'Could not complete your request because access violation occured, unable to read location: 0x00000008'

I have never used Pro Tools or anything.

I am completely new to this. What should I do to remedy this problem?

Thanks.

I am running:
Windows 7 32bit
4gb ram
i5 2.80 ghz
Eleven Rack with Expansion Pack

For me, enabling Win XP SP3 compatibility mode worked. After some time I managed to switch back to normal and it is still up and running. Weird.

Hope you get it solved!!

Good detective work. Using the Run as Admin has actually been a required option since Windows 7 came out You might also do this tweak: Right-click on the Pro Tools icon and select Properties>Compatibility and look for these 2 settings"
Always Run as Administrator
Disable Desktop Composition
check the boxes for both
