Default LANTEMCY OVER 1024?

IN CHApter 6 and page 69 from (getting started 5.1) are the option for lantency over 1024 . how can i put lantency in 2048 or 4096 or 8192 ? i realy need this to do the mix with more plug ins !!!!???
