Default Here is an interesting question....(I think)

Can an older version of NI Komplete ssd drive be formatted and/or completely erased so that you can use the drive for storage?

Of course. It’s just a normal HDD. A drive is a drive.

I want to say be careful as you might need to reinstall, but I guess that’s not really an issue anymore as you can pull down the full installers via their activation software.

One thing though, unless they changed on more recent versions of KU, it’s an HDD not an SSD. I’m running KU9 and it’s most definitely an HDD. I doubt they’d all of a sudden ship it on an SSD. It’s a significant jump in price and would eat into their profit margin a fair bit.
