On that note Lee. I could really use some feedback.

We've been wrestling with converting our monstrous SampleCell library to Reason’s NN-XT with CDXtract with very limited success.

CD-Roms translate fine but Banks and Instruments saved unto hard disk either don’t show up at all or, convert all messed up.

After a week of total frustration, I installed SSC unto a PB G4 867 and triggered it via a USB MIDISPORT and I got so much MIDI slop that, that’s completely unusable, except for verifying the Bank and Instrument settings.

So, next solution that I’m thinking of is, since I have a B&W G3 (G4 Sonnet upgrade doing basically nothing other then some basic video editing), getting a Digi001 to MIDI into SSC and light piping out back to the HD system. My worries are that after spending the 6 or 7 hundred bucks, will I still be in the same position as far as MIDI slop.

If you wait till next month's FxPansion VST-RTAS adapter, you can get the DS-404 sampler from any copy of Computer Music for free.
