driver_irql_not_less_or_equal / BSOD when shutting down
ok, so i've searched high and low and even tried a half-dozen or so trouble-shooting processes to get rid of my BSOD. i am running a duo core/2.13 ghz/2 gigs of RAM/etc on a new Dell, although i'm using my old DIGI001 hardware/software.
so here's what's crazy, my protools actually works. it plays all midi and audio files just fine. i have yet to play an entire song all the way through, however, i only played a minute or so of a track to see if my Old protools hardware/software will work with my New Dell, and it does, sort of. my problem lies, in that, after closing protools and shutting down my computer, it's when i try to shutdown that i get the BSOD. my protools appears to work and will even close properly, but my brand new computer won't shut down properly after running protools. any suggestions anyone? Thanks, |
