OTUtilityLib
Hi,
I am trying to run pro tools free on a system using OS 8.6 on which I didnt' install Open Transport... is there one open transport file that I can use so that I can finally get PTF to launch instead of having it, telling me it can't launch cause it can't find OTUtility Lib or do I have to install all of Open transport for it to work. thanks in advance, richard sven |

Re: OTUtilityLib
I got the same message. I couldn't find the OTUtilityLib extension anywhere. When I followed the directions explicitly, and installed the Pro Tools onto a clean initialized hard drive, with the OS base extension set, I had no more trouble of the kind you mention.
I never did fnd the OTUtilityLib extension. J.L. |

Re: OTUtilityLib
Pro Tools does need open transport to run. Installing it should solve your problem.

Re: OTUtilityLib
I took Mike's advice, turned on appletalk, and all the OT extensions, even though there was no OTUtilityLib. Rebooted, and PRESTO! I'm up and running! Thanks Mike
