Clip Gain Line on D-Command?
I would very much like to have a soft key on my D-Command to switch the clip gain line view on and off. There is no keyboard shortcut for this feature that I am aware of. It seems the only way to access this feature is to pull down the View Menu and switch it with the mouse. Any chance that could be added to the soft key function set with a future firmware upgrade?

Re: Clip Gain Line on D-Command?
I was about to suggest that you'd create your own shortcut in the OS itself (this can be done in Windows too, yes?), but I discovered that the one I made doesn't toggle. I can make the clip gain line visible, but can't hide it again with the same shortcut.

Re: Clip Gain Line on D-Command?
That's weird, mine works fine here. I use F1 to toggle the values and F2 to toggle the line using the OS shortcuts (10.6.8).

Re: Clip Gain Line on D-Command?
The default Pro Tools shortcuts for clip gain are (in Mac):
Show/Hide Clip Gain Line: Conrol+Shift+(-key) Show/Hide Clip Gain Value/Fader: Control+Shift+(=key) Most shortcuts work with clip gain if you add the Control+Shift key, like copy clip gain is Control+Shift+C, etc. |
