Default PT Preferences not staying

- Every time open a session in PT 8 for the 1st time (A 7.4.2 created session)

- Creating a new group, I have to SELECT to include Solo's, Send Mutes & Send Levels. "Mutes" is the only parameter checked by Default.

- Scrolling is set to "None" - and I have to change it to "Page Scrolling"

Not that big of a deal - but it's slowing me down - especially the Group defaults.

I've trashed PT preference files and still defaults to Solo being unchecked in Group creation.

Anyone else ?

I had this happen once (creating a group, and having to manually check solo), but I couldn't figure out what the key to repro was. Sounds like you figured it out though. It was definitely irritating.

Well I haven't really figured it out - opening any sessions that weren't created in PT8 (Which is all of them) - I have to Create a group, check all of the parameters I want included (Solo, Mute ect...) THEN that session will remember what I'd like a group to consist of.

I've got 4 albums to mix 40+ songs, that weren't created in PT8 that I'll have to manually set up "Group selection on"

I'll just take an hour, open each session, create a bogus group, check, solo and all the mutes, save and close - before I start, so that it's done.

This however is still a p.i.t.a.
