EUCON constantly crashing

I have serious Problems with EUCON Controller since I have a Dock attached to my S3.

EUCON crashes
when I delete tracks,
when I duplicate tracks,
when I drag sounds onto timeline.

Not every time, but several times a day. For example, today I had six crashes during editing work. A desaster for a pro workflow. Not a single crash in the last 1,5 years before I added the Dock to my S3 a few weeks ago.

Nobody else?

Old versions of EuCon used to behave this way for me with the Artist Mix. But not anymore. Current version on Mac with the Dock is 100%. No crashes. Last crash I had was a corrupt session file that brought down PT a few days ago, but EuCon didn't blink. Wonder if your issue is Windows only(?).

Propably it's a windows-thing. As I said, I had no issues before only using the S3. It started since I connected the dock and updated to new EUCON version 3.4.1

I've been having issues with Windows and Eucon crashing since 3.4, maybe a couple of times a day and been trying to get to the bottom of it with support... how does Windows report the crash (mine shows a certain Windows .dll file), or is it within PT error reporting with its own avid log file? (just wondering if we are having the same issue).

It's a total mess here.
4-6 crashes each day. And costumers sitting next to me in mixing room... Embarrassing.

Most times the
error module Name is: MSVCR120.dll
Modul Version: 12.0.21005.1

its the same module MSVCR120.dll that's reported as crashing on mine also....

avid have been working through my crash reports and looks like fingers crossed they may have solved it supposedly... in eucon 3.5 which is hopefully out fairly soon.

In the meantime, task manager to end the eucon process and restart eucon application means that I'm back up after a crash in about a minute....

I just saw there is a EUCON 3.5 in my avid account. But no release info here at Forum?

Seems much more stable for me on a first sight, just one crash last week. But - I am in sound editing process since I updated, don't need the controller very much for that.

I start a new mixing week on Monday, I'm curious how it will work then.

I have been mixing and haven't had a Eucon crash as yet in the same way as before, praise the lord.

However now I'm having a new issue, which is the iPad app occasionally crashing and quitting, guess they fix one thing and break another!! It's not a big deal, happening maybe once a day, just need to restart the app and seems to work straight away again after faders jump up and down.
