Default DigiTechSupt

Can you sort out the clicks and pops in Reason when rewired please.

When Reason runs in the background it's fine but when I open the Reason GUI clicks and pops start.

All VI's seem to be ok no pops and clicks when I open them in GUI.

I taught it was me, Reason worked fine in 8.03 when opened in GUI.

4.1 is the latest Reason update.

If you use Reason when rewired with Pro Tools, hit Alt + Tab it brings up the Reason GUI this is when the crackles and pops start then I put Reason in the background behind Pro tools mix or edit window the crackles and pops disappear.

It's baffling me at the moment I like to change wires in the back of Reason when I work and I like to see exactly what I'm doing.

Thanks for the reply.

Well, not quite.

4.0.1 is the latest version, currently.

I do not experience this at all with PT 8.0.4 and Reason 4.0.1 with W7-64. So we have narrowed down that it must be a problem with the difference between the systems.

Since it only happens when you switch program views, I would start with Graphics troubleshooting. Do you have the latest drivers for the 7950? HAve you tried uninstalling the drivers and using the generic windows one? What values are your display settings?

When I run PT i have to select the disable desktop composition in the compatibility tab. Otherwise I get clicks in the audio when changing things on screen.
