Hey guys,
I exported a wav from DP and import it into Pro Tools HD. After import I see two green arrows in this waveform with an extended starting empty region. The green arrows marked the starting position of the original wave, anything before the green arrow are added/extended region... Why would this happen, what does this mean? Is this advanced funtion I don't need? Thank you

Those are sync points. DP must embed them in export and ProTools reads it. You can hide (view>clips>sync points) or remove by highlighting the clip, Clip>remove sync points (or command+comma)
