HDX Thunderbolt Chassis - Compatibility with other cards ?

Hello,

As Sonnet is removing its Xmac mini server from their catalog during few months, I'm currently looking for a similar rack solution for Mac minis.

My question is : Is there any compatibility with other PCIe cards for this chassis ?

What is the PCIe type in this chassis ? I heard that only PCIe2.0 is only compatible with HDX card on Thunderbolt 3 chassis. So I assume this chassis is made with one PCIe2.0 slot ?
