Default Mix Groups

I found this old thread about using shortcuts to enable/disable groups with the ID letter.

http://duc.avid.com/newreply.php?do=...te=1&p=1100197

My question:

When I "CTRL Click" a group with the mouse, PT shows only the channel strips inside that group. Can this also been done with the keyboard?

Thanks

You might type the search term "Keyboard Selection of Groups" in the search of the Ref Guide PDF.

Thank you joachim. On page 247 of the manual they describe the procedure to enable and disable a group with the letter ID. That's not what I was asking for.

I was rather referring to the visual representation of the computer window. When I control click a group (no matter if it's active or not) I see only those channel strips. Can that be done with the keyboard only?

f.ex. CTRL + ID letter doesn't work

Ahh, I see ... .
According to the Shortcuts Guide, ctrl-clicking and choosing "show only tracks in group" is the only way.
To achieve the same, I use mem locs (track show/hide). Advantage of that, for the edit window : one can also make the shown tracks fill the whole edit window vertically (track height).
