Hooking up a MixPlus system
I am hooking up a system for a friend :
Mix Plus on a G4 dual 1.25 with PT TDM 6.4.1, also running DP 4.1.2 we are trying to hook up : (1) expansion with (4) 888 Do we need extra cards for the expansion? |

Not sure what you're talking about by "(1) expansion", but you can connect 4 888's across 2 mix cards. You'll need 2 Y-cables to connect 2 888's to each card.

Yeah, I was also wondering what he meant by "expansion" and was thinking he means an expansion chassis. If that's the case, you will put the expansion chassis's controller (PCI) card in the Mac and put the Digi Mix cards in the expansion chassis. I don't think Digi supports putting any non-Digi cards in the chassis so it's all Digi cards in the chassis and the chassis controller card and any other non-Digi PCI card(s) in the Mac.
