Pro Tools 12 subscription problem
Hi!
I'm trying to buy Pro Tools 12 monthly subscription from the Avid Store but everytime I get stuck at the same place. After I fill in my iLok account ID and click use this account I get a new screen that says: Salesforce single sign-on error Your login attempt using single sign-on with an identity provider certificate has failed. Please contact your salesforce.com administrator for more information. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm on late 2013 iMac with Yosemite. Thanks, Temppu |

Re: Pro Tools 12 subscription problem
Hi Temppu
Was it something that YOU did to solve it? I'm trying to upgrade to PT12 but the site just hangs and times-out on the ilok stage at the checkout (after I've entered my ilok ID). Has everything transferred OK to your ilok? Ta, Juan |

Re: Pro Tools 12 subscription problem
Hi!
I did absolutely nothing, it just went like it should. The website suddenly started working. I checked my iLok account and the license is visible there. I haven't had the time to install Pro Tools yet. |

Re: Pro Tools 12 subscription problem
Thanks Temppu
Yes, - all by itself - it's finally worked for me after a couple of hours. However, I see nothing yet in my ilok account. Is the transfer supposed to be immediate when it happens, do you know? I'm trying my best to be patient |

Re: Pro Tools 12 subscription problem
I think that the license should be at your iLok account immediately if you buy it online.

Re: Pro Tools 12 subscription problem
Ahh .. Thanks Temppu. 'Not navigated this download process on line at AVID until now. It was there, but I didn't see any info about where to look for it when i initially bought it. There may have been a link, or something, but by then I was all spaced out trying to work out OSX+PTx+Sibelius 8+003+FW/thunderbolt combined compatability at the time.
For anyone else, you've got to go to "My Products" > "My Products and Subscriptions" in your AVID Account and click what you're using to upgrade it (in this instance CPTKII). Then you have to log in to your ilok manager (where it now shows up "0/1") and drag it to the ilok that you want. Many thanks Temppu NB. That was for an upgrade to my PT license, it may be different for a straight purchase, anyone? Last edited by Juan Moore; 10-21-2015 at 07:26 AM. Reason: type of purchase |

Re: Pro Tools 12 subscription problem
I'm trying to buy Pro Tools 12 monthly subscription from the Avid Store for 2 days now but everytime I get stuck at the same place. After I fill in my iLok account ID and click use this account I get a new screen that says:
Salesforce single sign-on error Your login attempt using single sign-on with an identity provider certificate has failed. Please contact your salesforce.com administrator for more information. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm on a 2020 MacBook pro with Catalina. I have tried 3 different browsers and deleted history and cookies on each. Still the same problem. Can anyone help? |
