MBox Mini won't record live audio?!

Hey all, this is my first time posting here. Recently, my MBox 3 mini stopped recording live audio. It monitors everything just fine through headphones and monitor outs, but on the mixer screen, the level barely shows up and no waveform will track when I record. This problem began when I was still running a PC platform, single processor, 4 GB RAM, bare minimum for Pro Tools to run. I had just figured my processor was on it's way out and could no longer handle Pro Tools. So I made the jump to a top of the line Mac Pro. The MBox works perfectly just a sound card, but still won't record, even on the new powerful Mac.
I've tried everything from adjusting the buffer settings to turning off all other USB devices. And yes, I am recording through an audio track, and not an instrument track. Input settings are right. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I hope my MBox isn't defective all the sudden, it hasn't left this one spot since I bought it 1.5 years ago and I have a recording session tomorrow night. I'll list my specs again if it helps.
