Default Converting Old Sessions to 32 Bit Floating?

Are there benefits to converting old (PT9) 24 bit sessions to 32 bit floating? I upgraded to PT10 in the middle of a record, so the files were all started in 24 bit, 44.1. Wondering if I should switch the sessions to 32 bit and finish recording?

If so, is it as easy as changing in the "session" menu under the "setup" tab?

a) never update in the middel of a project unless forced to by equipment failure

b) probably nothing gained and a lot of drive space lost

I don't think its exactly as you are thinking here. Unless I am wrong(and it happens) the 32 bit detail relates to how Pro Tools handles the audio files within the mix engine, not how it converts(16 bit vs 24 bit vs 32 bit). Having said all this, please correct me if I missed the boat here
