Default MBox 2 Micro to Pro Tools 9 Crossgrade

Hi there,

I'm having trouble finding out that if I buy a MBox 2 Micro that I can do a Crossgrade to Pro Tools 9?
All the dealers I talk to say it isn't possible...
Has anyone experience with this, or has done this for the crossgrade?

Kind regards,

G-Lay

The dealers you're talking to are dead wrong.
The answer is yes, an Mbox 2 Micro serial number WILL get you the crossgrade pricing.

Several (at least 5) people I know personally have.
I never owned a Micro, but ANY Mbox 2's serial number achieves crossgrade pricing.

Yes, that's what an Mbox 2 Micro is.

Keep in mind that the serial number is on the Micro's box. If you didn't save the packaging your SOL as far as the upgrade goes.

Actually I crossgraded from a Mbox2Micro (yes the usb stick unit) and the serial number is on the unit itself. It is so small i had to use a magnifying glass to read it.
