Does Pro Tools SE or LE work with M-Audio Firewire 410?
It's not clear to me - or maybe I find it difficult to believe.
So if I buy an Avid Keystudio, which comes with Pro Tools SE, and I plug in my 410, I won't be able to use the 410 to record music in Pro-Tools SE. Is that correct? Ditto for LE? I'd have to buy a Keystudio, then buy M-Powered separately, so I can use both the Keystudio and the M-Audio 410. Is that right?

LE only works with Digidesign/Avid hardware. m-Audio hardware requires either M-Powered Pro Tools, or the full versions of 9 or 10. I would go to the main Avid site and look for what SE works with.

Thank you. So, just to make it perfectly clear - if I install Pro Tools SE, then plug in my Firewire 410, Pro Tools won't recognize the 410 as a recording device. Is that correct? I just want to paint the picture.

Look at the main Avid site and see what interfaces are approved for use with SE(I don't know).
