Default standalone core audio driver for Tiger

Hi

Hopefully one of you who is more informed than I can answer this question.

I use M-box primarily as an audio interface, not so much for Protools. I use PT, but not enough to justify the paid upgrade from 6.4 to 6.9 (I'm also a poor recent graduate). I'd like to upgrade to Tiger, but there is no standalone core audio driver for Tiger yet, correct? I'd like to use the M-box with programs like Logic in Tiger without buying 6.9? Is this possible? Does anyone know when the standalone driver is set to be released?

Thanks to anyone who responds,

Stephen

Does that mean we will be able to use the 001 as an output device in tiger?

Any gross estimate of a release date? Even what month, or what quarter of the year?

Thanks,

Stephen

I'd like to know the answer to this as well!

How long are we looking at for this?

There are no plans for support or testing with the 001 with the Tiger Core Audio driver.

As for when the standalone driver will be availble - all I can say at this time is 'soon', meaning sometime in the next week or two, assuming all the testing goes as planned.

Does that mean, "no, it absolutely wont work with the 001", or "It might work, or it might not"?

I understand that there wont be support, but then again I won't be buying upgrades either, so that's a win-win.

Just installed it, seems to be working. Thanks Digi team. I'll get more use out of this system yet!
