HD Native Not Showing Up PT 2019.12.0 Win 10

Hi Guys and Girls!

Having recently built a new PC and renewed my Protools (PT) HD subscription I am unable to see the HD Native card or related HD Native drivers in PTs playback engine window. The hardware option does not show up either.

I have installed the latested version of the avid HD audio driver
I have updated to the latest firmware available on my HD Omni interface
Checked the digilink connection etc.

I have tried rolling back to 2019.10 and repeating the steps to no avail.

I have tried clean installs of the Avid HD Legacy drivers with no luck either.

Its a fairly new system Im using;
windows 10 pro
Asus zenith extreme 2
3960X CPU
64GB Ram
1TB M.2 CDrive.
HD Native PCIe Card
HD Omni interface
Digi link cable
Optical cable from my PC
(Avid HD drivers are not showing up in windows either)

However and heres the weird twist.

The Avid HD driver via ASIO is being picked up and working in Reaper and I can see all the ins and outs and it passes audio just fine. I know weird huh?

I heard rumours that I may need a digilink I/O licience for 300 quid, but surely that cant be right can it?

Any advice will be warmly recieved!

Yea you do need that digilink at 300 ”quid” as from HD12.6 and up the digilink license is needed for PT to see the PCIe card and interface. Sorry but those are the breaks!

HD Native is not even supported anymore! How do they get away with this ****!?

OK So I ended up buying the digi link licience and activating it on my ilok, but I still cannot see the HD native card as my playback device?

I have a valid subscription and it opens, but its not really much good to me if I cannot see my device.

Any Ideas?

If you fire up the computer holding down the N key until a popup comes up where you can choose the audio device, what can you choose from there? Screen grab would be best with the dropdown so we can see whats in there.

Its ok, I fixed it by connecting the card to anther PCIe slot. and rebooting.
