Mbox Pro playback issues
I'm using Mbox pro with Pro Tools 10 on a mac mini with Yosemite. I have the mbox pro configured for 5.1 playback, i.e. I'm using all 6 outputs. when I playback I get errors such as dropouts or stutters. Not complete dropouts but what sounds like bad edits. When I playback over the same section it comes back fine. The Mac has 16Gb RAM. I have increased the h/w buffer to 1024. Not sure what to do to resolve. HELP!

Thanks for everybody who responded, i.e. nobody. I solved the problem which may be of interest to others. The mbox firewire cable cannot evidently be daisy chained through a hard drive. I had to do that since my mac mini has only 1 firewire output. I since purchase a firewire hub and that solved the problem.
