Default Laptop computer stand for live performances?

I recently joined a new band where i'm playing a lot of electronic music through my PowerBook, and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a stand that could accomodate my 15" computer, an Mbox and my LaCie d2 external hard drive.

I don't want it to be too big or stand out too much. The ideal situation would be for it to attach directly to my keyboard stand, but i'm not sure if that's feasible.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions, and my apologies if this is the wrong place for such a post.

You should ask this over on Ableton's forum as well. There are a lot of people there who use their laptops in similar manners and could probably provide you with some good ideas.

i've used this one extensively on the road...

instand

through an entire european tour and countless US shows.
it's been handy, has a small stage footprint, but a little pricey compared to some other newer options like those listed above instand

Thanks so much, guys. Instand looks like exactly what I need.

I'll post this on Ableton's site as well.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For Less than a 1/4 of the instand....
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/...se_pid/450210/

Just lay the top backwards to have a good stable backing and get some drumming "moon gels" for the corners of the laptop to sit on and Voila.....

A non skid/scratch laptop stand for CHEAP!

works great for me.
