Being somewhere with your 4 1/2 year old son and he says Dad that's your music or he tells someone that's my Dad's music.
Makes it all seem worth while.

Just curious, what music have you done, that I might call you dad?

a little thing that has made my recording better was recording in the new room I have on my house, right next to my studio. The floor is tile and 3 out of 4 walls are glass, and the other wall has a sliding glass door on it. Its a friggin cold room, but it sounds awesome for acoustic guitars!

Ah man, I know what you mean. We recently tore the carpet out of our living room, dining room, and hallway. The living room and dining room are actually one big room, now with hardwood floors, and are about 25'x25'x8' tall and 15'x20'x8' with reflective walls and ceiling. It's great for upright bass.

I don't know if it helps much, but I find smoking a big fat doobie makes things sound pretty awesome!
