Yup. I’m going to need to wire different tb into our mtrx for our 7 stages. Just planning for when our icons no longer are supported (which I hope is years away).

We hear you loud and clear on the desire for a momentary only option for Talkback.

Any news on this? I suspect that since it wasn't included in the EUCON 2021.6 release, it will have to be a DADman update.

Bumping this up here. Has anyone come up with a good solution for momentary-only talkback with the MTRX or MTRX Studio? I'm fine with a hardware-only solution, but haven't found an elegant off-the-shelf solution yet. If anyone has an easy to build solution, I'll happily pay you for it if it's a simple in-line solution.

I agree. Eliminating the latch function would be most welcomed. I have student users and all kinds of crazy happens when they use the TB foot switch.

BUMP! Any chance there will be a 'No Latch' talkback option implemented?

Thanks for implementing "RAW mode" in DADman!

Next question: Will momentary-only talkback also be coming to EuControl at some point? We have been using a mix of buttons attached to the MTRX Studio Footswitch input along with an S1 soft-key for the engineer. Before the latest DADman update, it was chaos! Now it's... less chaos. But they still don't mix well.

If the engineer presses the EuControl key when a producer is already holding a footswitch down, TB is cut off. Also, if the engineer has the S1 key down first (long press to avoid latching), then a producer presses footswitch and then releases, this cuts off TB until the engineer releases the S1 button, which then opens TB... and that's the dangerous situation!

Wiring up more TB switches that use the MTRX Studio footswitch input would currently be our safest bet, but it would be great if the EuControl softkeys played nicer (safer!) with it.
