it is just my idea. an idea. so please if u have other 32 or 64 pc's it doesn't matter which OS try to install those drivers on them all and see how is the outcome. this is not just for you but for anyone who read. if it goes well on all the 32 and bad on all the 64 then we have already found an important issue of the problem and the people from avid can concentrate to spot and correct and PUBLISH the corrected drivers. I hope they do

Thanks Torodrago,

As stated before, the issue must be definitely on 64bits but I am also guessing on Windows 10 since there are no specific drivers or any updates from Avid.

At least we deserve an answer from Avid! Are they preparing any new drivers for 64bits Windows 10 or not? Maybe they are expecting from us to buy new hardware but that for sure will not happen, at least I am not ever buying any Avid hardware.

Regards,

Marilena

the idea is : is on the 32 bits pc with the win7 drivers already working , still working after upgrade to win 10?

the 64 bits pc with the win7 drivers NOT working with win7, still NOT working after upgrade to win 10?

and so on. when we can state that then we can look which chipset and usb drivers on a 64 bits pc with win 7, 8 or 10 are affected or with which are we experiencing the problems.

Working for me now, here is my story...

I needed to do a clean install of Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and it was then I began to have problems after installing Pro Tools and the Fast Track Pro Drivers. My previous Windows 10 x64 system upgraded from Windows 8.1 had worked perfectly for recording. When I did the clean install, I downloaded the latest drivers for Fast Track Pro 6.1.11. I was prompted to upgrade the firmware and all appeared to be working until I started getting constant BSOD's on the fast track pro driver as well as generic IRQL.

I uninstalled the 6.1.11 drivers and loaded the original drivers from CD for the Fast Track Pro 6.07 x64 and I no longer have any problems. It shows my firmware version to be 1.02.

Perhaps there are some features not available in the old driver, but for my use everything is perfect.

IT WORKS APPLYING a powersupply 9 volts 500 mA to the Maudio and the last drivers. until now. when a BRAND BUY another brand and keep the customers of this brand UNSATISFIED for more than 3 years well is not the best advertising they can make for their self, don't they? the problem seems to be solved in this way but it is still jnot supported on win 10. shame on you AVID!!
