Can you edit the volume of a waveform in Pro Tools 9?

Sure, highlight what you want to adjust, go to AudioSuite>Other and select the GAIN plugin. Move the slider for the amount of change you want and hit Process. I do that all the time on vocal tracks to level the perfomance before it hits the compressor plugin as that smooths things out nicely

Thank you very much. That works simply and perfectly and I couldn't find anything in the reference manual. I will definitely be using this forum for my questions in the future. Thanks again!

For me, the Clip Gain feature in PT10 makes the upgrade SO worth it.
