Default moving tracks/editing

Hey everyone! I just got my Pro Tools (Digi 001 for Windows)and it's going ok so far. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to line up tracks. I imported drums from my old 8 track and then I imported bass. I was thinking it would be easy just to fly in the bass and move it around so it lines up with the drums. How do I select it, drag it and then line it up. Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but it's all kinda new to me.

But to answer your question, yes.
If you have a click track import that first.
Then drums and the rest.
If they are files that all start at same loc. snap to grid.
If you have to bring them in real time, then slip them in place.
There may be drift problems though.

Have fun!
