Default could not allocate space for recording

Hi,
I just purchased a mbox running on a powerbook G4 titanium 400 mhz.
I also bought a firewire 200gb LaCie HD which I formatted...
So, when trying to record tracks with files going to the external HD (setups - disk allocation - to my external HD) , I always get this message, which seems to say that my disk is full, and of course it is not !!!
Please help !

Default Re: could not allocate space for recording

In your prefs.. under the Operation tab, set the Open ended record allocation to a value like 15 minutes. If you have a very large amount of free space on your record drive you may have a variable rollover otherwise.
