Default PT 12.7 on OS 10.8.5

I have a Mac Pro 5.1 with PT 10 and 12.4 installed using a combination of TDM hardware for tracking and RME UFX for mixing in PT12. It has turned out to be a pretty stable system. My AVID support plan runs out in March and I was thinking it might be nice to get one more update (nifty new features!) before this system becomes a permanent install which I will likely use until the hardware fails or I die...whichever might come first.

So...my question is: Has anyone tested PT 12.7 on Mountain Lion? I realize that it will be unsupported, but I 'm just curious if it works?

Hoping that someone might have tried this?

I'm fairly sure that combination will have some nasty artifacts. Apparently there has been major changes in 10.11 so current software might run with errors if you have older operating system than that.

You can try, but results might be ...err... random :)
