Default Academic version of pro tools help

I was wondering what the difference between academic and the normal versions are as far as the license goes, if I qualify for the academic version would i be able to use it for non academic use as well? If i put stuff I made with it on youtube or made money off it would that be illegal?

The only difference between the Academic and non-Academic license is that the Academic license is not transferrable from your iLok account to someone else's iLok account.

Otherwise, it is exactly the same, and Pro Tools 9, 10, or 11 works exactly the same with the academic license as the regular license.

Nope, make as much money as you can.

If you're a student on a fashion course, or pluming course for example, and you get a student discount on some of the tools of the trade whilst you are enrolled, are you suddenly no longer allowed to use those tools the moment you graduate?

Same applies here.

You get a generous discount whilst you're a student, after that it's full price, but you own what you bought, and can use it as you please.

I have one other question as far as eligibility process goes, could I check if I meet the requirements before I pay $300?

Would this be good enough, http://oi60.tinypic.com/29efzg3.jpg , in this case I blurred out my info because I don't want all of it on the internet but it has my name, number, email, the school name, the date, and more. Do you think that's good enough?

You need to purchase this through an academic reseller--contact them directly about what eligibility proof is needed.

I contacted the seller and this is what they said,

"Studica does not process the academic verification for Avid products. Once you receive your Activation Card there will be instructions on how to submit your academic verification per Avid's regulations to their verification company."

Here is how it happened when I bought Pro Tools 9 in college: Once you receive your boxed copy in the mail, there will be a card with precise instructions. You send your information to Avid. This involves (If I recall correctly) providing a .EDU email address, and proving your enrollment (scan of school ID, and possibly they contact your school to verify).
