Video engine issues
Hello everybody !
I have issues with the video engine of my brand new Pro Tools : I can import video, the video window opens properly, but when I press play an error message shows up : "The video engine reported an error. More information is in the video engine log file". Of course nothing happens after. In this video engine log file the message is : "PhysicalMemoryAllocatorWin32::Create will use AWE Allocations" I don't understand that message. I tried to install new codecs, to delete preferences, reinstall drivers of my grafic card to solve it but nothing worked ... My Pro Tools is the 12.8.1, windows 10 x64, AMD radeon RX460 Plz help me I don't know what to do !!! =) |

Re: Video engine issues
What format is the video? Maybe convert it before importing?

Re: Video engine issues
I finally found a solution : install asio4all and put it as the audio and video engine in PT's setup
