Lost Lynx Aurora channels 9-16 into Pro Tools after HD1 to HD2 Upgrade

Hi Folks

recently added a PCIe HD2 Accel card to my system. All seemed to be good until I had a session last night and channels 9-16 would not show up in pro tools.

I ended up pulling out the Accel card and running HD1 as we have in the past so we could get channels 9-16 back and track the session

I'm running a Mac Pro 1.1 with a 2x2.66GHZ dual core and 5 GB or ram. OS is 10.6.8 and I'm running pro tools 8.1.1

Interface is a Lynx Aurora 16 with a single 12' digilink cable connected to the HD core card

Any ideas what might be going on?

Well, looks like I got it figured out!

went into set-up / Hardware and found the inputs for channels 9-16 were set to AES/EBU... changed those to Analog and all is now working with the Accel card installed

That ol' nugget Any time you trash prefs, that will likely default back to AES so keep that thought tucked away for future reference. The setups on my rig(2x HD IO, a 192 and a mix of analog and lightpipe), its complicated enough that I saved screen captures of each setup window for future recall
