That is why they are one modifier key away from each other.

I'm using PT 2018 and for some reason only the shortcut to vertically zoom down is working, but it doesn't go in very refined steps. It takes somewhat large steps.

The shortcut to vertically zoom up does not work at all.

Is anybody able to vertically enlarge the waveforms using cmd+option+ ]

cmd+option+ [ works for making the waveforms smaller.

Audio Zoom In and Audio Zoom Out is what it's called when I do it manually.

1st response is correct. Cmd-Opt-] and Cmd-Opt-[ zoom vertically. They do not change track size. And yes, it works on every rig. Is it possible you have some other shortcut interfering with this?
