What sort of track count do you use ?

My S6 will be 24 faders.

My sessions are usually 80 to 120 tracks.

Greetings,

I can assure you that with the current version of S6 in combination with your specified console configuration you will not perceive any slowing of Pro Tools due to the surface being connected.

best,

Jeff

Really ?

So Jeff,
what size of PT session and S6 config do you recommend to have a fluid and solid workflow ?

More seriously,
I also noticed that the larger you PT session is (number of objects and CPU usage), the more the Console freezes or bugs.

280 Objects / 20% of CPU usage = 1 freeze or bug a week.
490 Objects / 55% of CPU usage = 1 freeze or bug a day.

Thank you guys.
