It occurs about 7/8 of the way through the bounce.

No other Apps are running.

H/W Buffer size is all the way up at 1024

I thought I was the only one. I can't bounce down at 1024 either with just a simple 14 track mix w/ reverb and EQs. It's kinda lame. The Avid Core Audio buffer change doesn't work, they really need to fix this crap.

Hi,

This is a known issue and documented in the Pro Tools 10.1 release notes.

the work around is to use record to disk instead. route your mix bus to an audio track ann record the mix into this track. the track can then be accessed from the audio plugins folder. or right click in the clip list and reveal in finder.

You will want to open the session window apple+2 and select interleaved before doing this.

And also export as 44.1 16 bit if you want to play it on CD etc.

It was never a problem with PT8 or even PT9, and its no problem on Windows, which annoys me because the whole reason I run it on MAC is for stability. Or at least it was 8-)

Seems to me Avid have no idea and are not interested, which is so unlike the Digidesign days 8-(

I guess I'll just have to try a reload of Lion and PT

As far as work arounds go, it doesn't help with Quicktime bounces which is what I am currently trying to do.

Thanks for the advice though..... I sure with I could afford HD etc

I am getting the same message when trying to bounce to disk. Tried removing plug-ins to no avail.

Worked when I changed bounce bit rate from 24 to 16 bit.

Aaagh. Not really desired solution.

Well I think I may possibly have cracked it 8-)

No Thanks to Avid for total lack of help, I still consider it a Bug because DAE should NOT be this touchy.


Here is what I did.

1) Delete everything in /Library/Caches
2) shutdown
3) Restart in Safe Mode (Hold Shift on Boot), This clears all the MAC OSX cruft.
4) After Boot, Restart back into normal Mode.

Since I did that I have not had the -9132 error. Though I haven't tried Bouncing a Quicktime movie or 32bit sessions yet, both MP3 and WAV seem to work OK.

I'll see how it goes.

I was having the same problem... Bounced it to the desktop instead of an external hardrive and it worked perfect. I must say this is very embarrassing in the middle of a session. I've been with pro tools since 6, mac pro quad core, 9 gigs of ram... NEVER had this problem until pt 10! wtf?

and it was the first session with this client, so first impression kinda sucked... although the mix was still good.. (oh and i didnt figure it out until after they left) AVID should give me some kind of credit for this ...being that I payed $500 to upgrade from 8... AVID? how much do you care about your loyal customers?

THIS BOUNCE HANDLER CANNOT KEEP UP ERROR...IS SIMILAR TO SPENDING LOTS OF MONEY ON an EXCITING DATE...and at the end of all of your hard work looking for "closure" at the end of your night, your date simply abandons you....

THIS IS SUCH A PAIN...has anyone found a fix for this?

I have had the same issue since going to PT10. Installed latest update and still same error. Never had this problem before PT10 no matter how complex the session was. Avid? Ssession will also pause during playback. Again, rarely had this issue with previous versions of PT and lesser machine. Come on Avid.
