Default Pro Tools LE 7 crashes computer as soon as it starts

I'm running Pro Tools LE7 with a Mac Mini with OS X 10.4 and an Mbox. I just installed LE 7 and whenever I try to open it my computer comes to a stand still and says "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button for several seconds or press the Restart button."

I've uninstalled and reinstalled three times and installed various fixes yet seem to get no result, can anyone help?

Thanks!

We need more information about your system.

Most likely you are trying to run an incompatible version of ProTools, but without knowing your system speed and chip type, Mac OS version, PT version, RAM amount etc. there's no way to help.

It's got the 1.66Ghz Intel Core Duo processor, it's memory is 512 MB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM and the version is OS X 10.4.10

Is that enough?

You need to uninstall 7.0, then download and install Pro Tools LE 7.1.1, which is the first version to support Intel Macs.

Also, you'll very likely want to get more RAM - 768mb is minimum, 2GB is recommended.
