7.1 Controler
Hi!
I´m searching for a 7.1 monitor solution: * Channel Delay * trim (most of them all can do this!) * bass management * mixdown (i can do this easily via bus routing) I searched several days already. V Mon (there i a thread, yes i know) may do a lot for the price but since Im doing post for TV AND sounddesign for cinema, bass managment seems to be needed to have a "look" in real world DVD situations (though there is NO 7.1, anyway.) I could do bass management via my neumann O870 (sub), but MAY THIS be a problem when I delayed channels BEFORE? (theoretically this is a fact) RTW, Grace design etcetcetc do NOT cover what i got used to by DSM 7.1 (Tascam) years ago, but this piece of gear is dead. "klein und hummel" Pro M 1012 doesnt offer channel delay anymore... TC "Studio Konnekt"...hm, not very "reliable". Besides using an external PC which WILL do that (i´d programm this in MaxMSP) - Do you have a better solution for this taks? cheers, love and thank you-s ! Martin |

Re: 7.1 Controler
The Martinsound Multimax EX would do what you want minus the channel delay (atleast I don't think it has that feature).

Re: 7.1 Controler
I would consider either the Martinsound or a Crookwood.
If you lay out your requirements clearly, crookwood can build you anything you want. |
