Default Bounce keeps stoping ( -9073 )

I just bought a mac Mini everything seems to be running good my only problem as of now I am running my Lacie D2 hard drive to the Mac via USB due to the Mac Mini only having 1 firewire input and everytime I boucne a session the bounce keeps stoping and giving me a message: Cant get audio from drive fast enough.. something about the bandwidth or CPU load ( -9073 )

do I have to get a firewire port or is there another way to daisy chain or somthing..Help!!

If you can, but Daisy chain the 002 off the back of the drive is the proper way. Don't use the 1394 ports on the 002 for drives or anything other than connecting very small cameras or charging devices.

USB is usually too slow for recording.

Also Setup > Playback Engine > make sure your DAE Level is NOT level 8. Bring that back to level 2, and set the H/W Buffer to 1024 or higher if possible.

Does this help?

I had the similar situation. I have a LaCie D2 500 GB, Macmini (G4) Digi 002R. Had problems when daisy chained through Digi002. Solution: Firewire port for the Digi002, USB port for the LaCie. Now it runs 24/7, without stopping.
