RealVerb OSX not available until summer?!?

Sorry if this has been posted already but UA/KOL is saying RealVerb RTAS won't be ready until this summer.

This puts a BIG crimp in my 6.0 upgrade plans. RealVerb has been used in far too many of my sessions to just walk away from it. I've got a lot of the other s/w verbs but I prefer RealVerb.

Has anyone heard anything different on this? RenVerb and TrueVerb are okay in a pinch, but I do a lot of acoustic guitar and RealVerb is the only thing (software-wise) that I've found that really cuts it for sweetening up a track.

I called UA just the other day to find out the same thing. They said it wouldn't be ready until summer, AND that it would cost about $50 to upgrade. I guess we pay twice for their tardiness.

This does suck. I'd really like to move to X exclusively. So far PT 6.0 has been working good and the dv video out is great for me. It is much more responsive on my 533DP.

So... what's another really good, but not too expensive rtas reverb which will run NOW under OSX?

Damn that does suck! I love this plug-in, and prefer it sometimes even over hardware 'verbs for certain things.
Oh well, I guess I'll still be mixing in PT 5 for awhile... [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]
