Serious ASSERTION error (azuki again this time line 518)

Hi all

been getting THIS a lot

Assertion in "\code\azuki_Cliff\AlturaPorts\PT4_App\Mdie_TrackP layer.cpp",line 518
Its unrecoverable..and unpredictable.Rebooting of PT is the only recovery.

Various blames have been apportioned on the internet , including Melodyne (which I have)

Hi,

Just had this same error show up the other day while using Beat Detective to "fill gaps and crossfade" the drum edits for a song. Actually, BD had been running a little strange the whole day, giving me "end of stream" errors, requiring PT restarts, apparently having trouble with memory during the edit smoothing process. I've never had issues with BD like I did that day and still have to figure out what exactly is causing the trouble. There was nothing unusual about the number of tracks, length of song or density of edits with the track I was working on.

Don't know how this may be related... Are you running 7.3.1cs5 as well?

Yup..

I found a thread elsewhere about melodyne plugn.. (not the bridge) removed it and all has been well so far !
