using pro tools 7.4 as a controller
I'm using Pro Tools 7.4. I'm trying to enable my external sequencer to be controlled by pro tools. In other words, I want to be able to press the spacebar(play) so that pro tools begins to record and my keyboard(yamaha mo6) begins to play the track keeping the timing in sync. Thank you in advance for your help.

Re: using pro tools 7.4 as a controller
I can't remember for sure as its been a while but you need to tell the Motif to SYNC to External midi(look thru the utility pages). And make sure you have midi cables going both ways between the Motif and the PT midi ports.
