I had it hang in a project saying it was uploading .. but it got wedged and I had to force quit it.

But, the noise blast from Hell appears to be gone in 12.5 ... which makes
my ears happy.

I installed 12.5 and el capital on my backup HD last week.
created a new session from my template (no Sonnox)
First crash happened while playing with Boom after an hour
Did not worried me as it also happened on 12.4 with Boom
Next I use it on a session with a talent
Nothing fancy ,my usual template and all the Instrument were committed and inactive.
One vocal ,I could not record without PT stopping the recording after 40 seconds.
Try to up the buffer to 516, same
Managed to finish the recording session, up the buffer to 1032 to mix with automation on my Icon
Same ,PT stopped every 30 seconds sometime less.
Finished the mix, crossfaded andconsolidated the mix and listened.
The noisy pops on fades are back
Going back to 12.4 and Yosemite

Update:
After reverting to my main drive with Yosemite I tried the same session using 12.5.
No problem ,no stops recording the mix with automations, same recording a track with trim and autotune on the lowest buffer @126
Next I downmixed the session to a stereo track with trim ,autotune(not supposed to be pretty:) ) and Sonnox O)xford on the mixbuss @126 .
No problems

There is a file(OSX) or folder(WIN) for each cloud project. Delete the corrupted one and rhe project will reload tracks next time

Well....I thought 12.5 was more stable...and it was for the first few days..but I'm doing some editing on a song and I'm back to the random stupid crash's. Like crashing after muting a region, crossfading, moving a region. BTW on my Macbook, I only have Protools installed (no 3rd party plugins) and the same kind of crash's happen. So save the default DUC answer of "it's probably a plugin, please put all 3rd party plugins in the unused folder" answer.

Pro Tools 12.5 - 4th April 2016
Some Sonnox plug-in users have reported problems using their AAX Native and AAX DSP plug-ins in Pro Tools 12.5. They report that the problems are NOT present in Pro Tools 12.4 or earlier.

Reported problems include:

Opening a session in Pro Tools 12.5 created using a previous version of Pro Tools, and containing a Sonnox plug-in, crashes Pro Tools
Deactivating a Sonnox plug-in from an insert causes Pro Tools 12.5 to crash
Adding a new instance of a Sonnox plug-in then closing the Pro Tools session causes Pro Tools to crash
Avid and Sonnox are investigating why this is affecting some - but not all - Pro Tools users, and we will make further information available as soon as possible.

I was scared I was the only one, I get a couple crashes a day, usually when muting regions, other times its when clip gaining or even duplicating a region.
Always the same crash printout in terminal..

Sys_MachExceptionHandlerGlue.cpp catch_exception_raise::1

Not an OSX issues, as I had the same thing happen on a fresh 10.11.3 install and 2 different computers on 10.9.5.

So far I am sticking with PT11 but I really miss the commit feature..

My Sonnox plugin issue may be gone, but I'm still experiencing lots of crashes and sending lots of error reports. The latest is attempting to undo an identify beat operation. Not happy being a beta tester.
